New revelations about prayerReview by Jeannie
Quality
This is not a book to sit and read like a novel. I read it in short phases, and then pray. It leads me to pray in a new way that blesses my soul. It is not a devotional, but teaches me and leads me in new spiritual ways. It is a book that I would like to get for several of my Christian friends. (Posted on 3/9/2019)

Not what you think but what you will needReview by Gina

Very good. There are no words to ever really explain the Holy Spirit working through Oswald Chambers' writings. Utmost for His highest and this book are ones I will read everyday - over and over alongside the bible. This one on prayer is not the norm - and what we all need to understand. Deep cries out to deep in the book.... Not a long book, but not a quick read - if you are His, you will be diving into His word with this book and getting filled. Ordering for Christmas gifts as soon as the paper backs are available again. (Posted on 11/17/2015)

Oswald Chambers brings you a simple approach to prayer. It has little to do with getting what you need from God—and everything to do with God getting what He needs from you.

In this refreshing approach to this important biblical principle, If You Will Ask helps you discover that prayer is intimate communication intended to bring the bride alongside her Bridegroom.

By the author of My Utmost for His Highest.
