This series is great. It not only highlights the cultural and historical background of the beginnings of the early church but takes us on a journey to the actual places spoken about in the Bible. I initially saw parts of this video series while preaching four different Sundays for a church during its pastoral search process. The videos introduce viewers to historical, cultural and geographical background of Biblical times. The narrator, president of a college, presents the material in a very down-to-earth format that is fully accessible for all viewers regardless of age or academic background. As an addendum to any solid Bible teaching, this video series adds depth and generates more interest. I strongly recommend it. (Posted on 7/14/2014)Quality
