God made you and that is good news!Review by Sonja
Babies, toddlers, and preschoolers will be waving their fingers and counting their toes as they listen to the cute rhymes in this adorable board book. I love the way that the illustrations reflect an ethnically diverse family. God made us all—whatever skin or hair type we have—and this book is a darling reminder of that. It might have been nice to acknowledge in some way, whether through an illustration or a verse that not all children have ten fingers or toes or the ability to climb a tree, but they are still loved and made by God, too. Overall, a very delightful book! (Posted on 11/13/2019)
A beautiful reminder for children that God made them and watches them grow!Review by Vanessa Myers
Love this book for little ones! Glenys writes so beautifully. In this book, she shares with children how God made everything about them and how much He loves them. Love this quote from the book, "The good news is that God made me - and watches as I grow." That's a great reminder to children (and all of us) that God is with us every single day and He watches us as we grow into the men and women He created us to be. Great book for all children! Wonderful, Marvelous You!Review by Tickmenot
Children love hearing about themselves, so will instantly like this book because it points out how each and every part of themselves is distinctive. Little ones will adore hearing all the ways God made them special while listening to cute verses such as:

Who made my fingers wiggle so?

Who gave me ten cute toes?

Who gave me eyes to peak at you?

Who made my button nose?

Each page of this sturdy board book has adorable, colorful illustrations that point out they are specially made by God. All those special parts are shown in action while playing with grandma, during the joy of mom picking them up, and bubble baths.

Building up a child’s self-esteem will make them healthy and strong; they can never be told too much that they are a special and marvelous creation. You yourself can be special by picking up a copy of this enchanting 5-star book—I highly recommend it!

A bright, colorful, and cheerful board book for toddlers!Review by TheGingerLibrarian
This is such a bright, colorful, and cheerful board book for toddlers!

With simple, poetic text, and heartwarming illustrations, this book shows a family of three generations, with children contemplating how they were made, and realizing that God made their fingers, eyes, nose, hands, arms, legs, and toes. My favorite quote from this book is “From every hair that’s on my head, right down to my big toe, the good news is that God made me—because God loves me so.”

This is such a precious book that I highly recommend for children ages 1-4.

Note: I received this book from NetGalley and the book's publisher and author in exchange for my honest review, for which I am very grateful. (Posted on 10/15/2019)

Great way for toddlers to learn that God made them and loves them, from head to toe!Review by Julie
I love this new book in Glenys Nellist's Good News series! A sweet board book that has little kids pointing out that God made their fingers to wiggle, eyes to peek, arms to hug, hands to blow a kiss, and so on, as a reminder of Psalm 139:14. I can't wait to share this with my little grandson - a great way to remind him that God made him, from head to toe, because God loves him so!! (Posted on 10/15/2019)

Learn about the creator and get some wiggles out too...Review by NC
The question and answer format of this board book is great for sparking discussions with toddlers about how we are wonderfully made by God. Curious kids will be interested to spot similarities and differences among the family members in Lizzie Walkley’s illustrations. I love that the family is mixed and that Dad stays home with the baby! As an added bonus Glenys Nellist’s verses lend themselves to acting out the things we can do with our arms, legs etc. (hug, wave, blow a kiss) and older kids will love to add their own ideas.
